The Duke of Sussex is expected to be forced to stay in a hotel when he returns to England next week, after his request to stay at Windsor Castle was rejected by the British Royal Family.

Harry will fly to London for a special event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. However, according to Mirror , Harry will stay in a hotel instead of the royal family’s residence. At the same time, there will not be any senior members of the royal family attending the event to support the 39-year-old prince.
In addition, the Telegraph reported that King Charles III was also “too busy” to personally meet Harry when his youngest son returned to England. If time can be arranged, the meeting between the 75-year-old king and the Duke of Sussex will be very “quick”.
The reason Harry had to stay at the hotel was because his and his wife’s UK home, Frogmore Cottage, was repossessed by King Charles III last summer. In September of the same year, when returning to his homeland with personal work, Harry’s request to stay at Windsor Castle was also rejected by the royal family, citing “unclear announcement”. Since then, the Duke of Sussex no longer resides at the royal residence.

His wife, Meghan Markle, will not be accompanying him on his upcoming visit. She is in the US preparing for an unofficial trip to Nigeria scheduled to take place just a few days after Harry’s event in London. The former actor’s absence is said to make Harry feel lonely and lost, while his relationship with royal members is still in a period of tension and unresolved conflicts.
Royal expert Charlotte Griffiths said that Harry always enjoys having his immediate family by his side, especially when the event takes place at St Paul’s Cathedral, where his parents got married.
“That’s very important to Harry. He wants his wife and even his children by his side. Meghan leaving him there alone creates a really lonely portrait of a man who doesn’t have friends and family nearby,” Charlotte commented.
